“The 27th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair” (27th MIF)
The Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) was first held in 1996 and is the first local exhibition accredited by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). Over the years, the MIF has become an influential annual international MICE and trade event in Macao, with a growing market capacity, professionalism and brand image. In recent years, the MIF has joined forces with the Macao Franchise Expo (MFE) and the Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (PLPEX) to build on the integration of resources, enrich the content and enhance the professionalism of the events.
The 27th MIF will be held in Macao from 20 to 22 October 2022. With the theme of “Cooperation – Key to Business Opportunities”, this year’s MIF will continue to follow the national policy, Macao’s development positioning and policy initiatives, and make specific plans in terms of event planning, project content and guest composition, to provide a platform for promoting industry development and pave the way for business cooperation.
Guests from all over the world are cordially invited to participate in the MIF online and offline, to seek cooperation and common development!
Exhibition
Exhibition areas for Chinese provinces and cities, Europe, Portuguese-speaking countries, the Americas, and countries and regions along the Belt and Road, as well as themed exhibition areas for multiple industries and commodities, will be set up. The 27th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair will be held on the same venue as the 2022 Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (2022PLPEX), the 2022 Macao Franchise Expo (2022MFE), CHEXPO Macao 2022, Science And Technology Week 2022 and Exhibition of Achievements in Science and Technology Innovation and China （macao） International Cultural & Creative Industry Exhibition to produce synergy effects.
SMEs Cooperation
MIF has strengthened its local involvement in recent years to help enterprises explore business opportunities for further development, transformation and startups by joining the event, supporting their growth in the city.
The 27th MIF will further expand the SME Exhibition Area, with the number of booths increased from 80 to 160, with the aim of boosting consumption in Macao through the event and helping local enterprises expand market.
Business Matching
Assists exhibitors and trade visitors in looking for partners and exploring business opportunities, to “Go Global & Bring in Investment”, through the “Online Business Matching Service Platform” along with a series of networking sessions.
Forum/Conference
Holds high-level forums, international economic and commercial conferences and presentations discussing and sharing the insights on global economic trends, to promote “One Centre, One Platform” (“World Centre of Tourism and Leisure” and “Commercial and Trade Cooperation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries”).
