Asian Trade Promotion Forum will be held in 2006
The 19th Asian Trade Promotion Forum (ATPF) was scheduled at 23 and 24 February 2006. Political and business leaders from 21 member countries and regions will be gathered in Macao to discuss Economic and Trading Cooperation and Development in the Asian Pacific regions. The Director General of Trade and Economic Cooperation Department of Japan External Trade Organization, Takezo Yanagida, said that the ATPF will reinforce Macao’s role in the Asian Pacific regions so as to widen the Economic and Trade sphere and benefit the diversification of cooperation.
The 21 members of ATPF, included the government organisation of China, Japan, India, Hong Kong and Macao. The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute was assigned at the 18th ATPF as the organizer for next year’s ATPF.
