The 9^th MIF Completed Successfully

The 9^th of Macao International Trade and Investment Fair has been completed successfully. During the fair period, there were 23 contracts and agreement to be signed, which transactions involved MOP$ 3.8 billions. T hose companies mainly came from Portuguese-speaking countries, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao. Extend of products are including: wasted iron, medicine, clothes, biologic technology, sandalwood, fruits etc. The Executive Director of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute , Jackson Cheong concluded said, the achievement of the 9th MIF was successful and even better than last year.

During the interview of Jackson Cheong, he expressed, during the MIF, the overseas trade and Chinese trade visitors have better understanding of Macao. The CEPA information counter and all the presentations provided investment environment information of Macao for trade visitors. In addition, there were over 70 delegations, 300 booths, which increased a lot compared with last year. He declared, that the MIF of next year shall be more international and better organized.
