MIF     Macao, a territory characterised by free trade & economy, has been playing an active role in the international business arena for years. In 1996, in order to promote the commercial, investment and technical exchanges between local enterprises and those overseas, IPIM organised the 1st MIF, attracting companies from Hong Kong, Taiwan, P.R.C., Australia, Spain, France, Portugal and others to participate. Therefore, the event was the start of Macao's function as a bridge linking China & the EU. This role has been further strengthened since the reversion of sovereignty to China. Subsequently, MIF has become Macao's largest annual international economic & trade event.
